Casino Gambling in Rhode Island - Minutes from Boston, Massachusetts

BLB Investors is creating a world class gaming destination for the state of Rhode Island as well as all of New England.

Under the leadership of new owners, BLB Investors, a $220 million construction project is still underway at Twin River. The renovation and expansion continues so to build from the existing facilities a world class entertainment destination while efficiently addressing the programmatic and functional needs of the complex.

Every inch of the new Twin River is being upgraded or completely redesigned to offer an experience that will change the landscape of entertainment not only for the Ocean State, but for all of New England.

As the second phase of development provides new and relocated "behind the scenes" spaces such as state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems, storage and loading facilities and employee services.

The final phase in the development of Twin River includes a complete renovation of the existing ground floor gaming and entertainment center to rejuvenate these popular spaces with the same level of finish and quality created throughout the project's earlier phases.

Derived from the region in which it resides is found the inspiration for the character and imagery for the new Twin River. The Ocean State offers a vast, diverse and rich resource of dynamic, beautiful and historic images from which to draw. From the natural, coastal beauty of the waterfronts and beaches, to the architecturally rich textures of the Blackstone Valley, site of the birth of the Industrial Revolution the new Twin River will, in a sophisticated manner, articulate and reveal them all. These elements will be reflected throughout the facility from exterior landscaping to the interior design of all public spaces. The rejuvenated Twin River truly is an an exciting, yet recognizably comfortable recreational experience.

Commitment to Rhode Island

In an effort to continue its commitment to the people of Rhode Island, particularly its most needy, BLB has established The Twin River Charitable Fund (TRCF). The TRCF, to be managed by The Rhode Island Foundation, will distribute grants to select agencies, beginning in 2006. Inquiries should be sent to Kim Ward at the Twin River Community Affairs Department, 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln, RI 02865 or via fax at (401) 727-4770.
